10 Days Tour

Our driver will pick up you from Colombo or Bandaranayake International Airport. Then you will proceed directly to Anuradhapura. There you will visit Anuradhapura ancient kingdom. During this day you will travel to various locations and ruins of this amazing city.

You will travel to Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi tree. This is one of the main pilgrimages of Buddhists. Then you visit Ruwanweliseya stupa. During the Anuradhapura ancient city tour you visit Lowamahapaya, Thuparama stupa, Abhayagiriya temple, Jethawanaramaya temple, Samadhi Buddha statue, twin ponds, moonstone, Isurumuniya and some other locations.

Driver will drop you at the hotel where you stay overnight at Anuradhapura.

In the second day of tour, you travel to Dambulla from Anuradhapura. There you visit Dambulla Cave Temple and Dambulla Golden Temple.

Then your next destination is Sigiriya. You would not visit Sigiriya Lion Rock on this day. Nevertheless, you can do a Sigiriya Village Tour on this day.

Finally, our driver will drop you at the hotel you stay overnight at Sigiriya.

In the morning of the day 3 of tour, we plan to start from Sigiriya. If you like to watch the sunrise on top of the Pidurangala mountain, you can visit to Pidurangala rock top early in the morning. Pidurangala is a Rock Mountain and ancient Buddhist cave temple complex. You can see one of the world’s most beautiful sunrises on this mountain top.

Next, you can climb Sigiriya Lion Rock. Sigiriya Lion Rock is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There you can see ruins, frescoes and ancient water gardens and bolder gardens.

After visiting Sigiriya if you have wish enjoy an Ayurvedic massage which is unique to Sri Lanka for an hour .Then you will proceed to a wild life safari in Minneriya. Our driver finally drop you at the hotel for overnight stay at Polonnaruwa.

On the fourth day you will travel to Polonnaruwa to see the ancient ruins. Galvihara (huge stone carvings), Watadage (ancient hooding for stupa), Nissanka Latha Mandapa (an ancient dancing floor), King’s Palace (this is a seven storied building), an ancient hospital are some of the common places you visit in Polonnaruwa. In addition to those you can visit number of ruins, statues, carvings, stupa, temples, Tanks and etc.

our driver will drop you at the hotel in Polonnaruwa for the overnight stay.

During the fifth day guests will travel to Kandy. On the way to Kandy, you will visit Nalanda Gedige and Matale Hindu Temple in additionally.

Then you will proceed to Kandy and make a City tour in Kandy. Hence you will visit Temple of Tooth, Museums, Kandy Lake, Old English Market, Bogambara old prison, etc.

In the evening you will visit to see a traditional dancing show in Kandy finally. Overnight stay in Kandy.

You will visit Royal Botanical Garden at Peradeniya in the morning of the day 6 of tour. There you can see many lots of beautiful flowers items. Furthermore, some kind of historically valuable trees also there.

Then you will proceed to Nuwara Eliya. In addition, you can visit a tea plantation and Ramboda waterfall on the way to Nuwara Eliya.

In Nuwara Eliya, driver will take you on a city tour. During the Nuwara Eliya City tour you will visit Gregory Lake, Gregory Park, Old fruit market, Victoria Park and etc. Furthermore, you can do an evening horse ride if you like. Finally, the driver will drop yo at the hotel in Nuwara Eliya where you stay overnight.

In the morning of day 9 of tour, you visit to Yala and go for a wild life safari. After that, tour will proceed to Tangalle. There you can get a relaxation at Tangalle beach. Then proceed to Mirissa. On the way to Mirissa you will visit to see the blow hole. Finally, our driver will drop you at the hotel in Mirissa for overnight.

You will go for a Whale and Dolphin watching at the start of day 10. Then you will proceed to a turtle hatchery. After that proceed to Galle. Here you can visit Galle Dutch Fort and a city tour. Finally, after finishing the city tour in Galle you will return to Colombo or direct to Bandaranayake Airport for departure.
